In episode 40, Marc Matt and John discuss the controversy that may or may not be Billy Mitchell coming to Kong Off 3 in Brisbane Australia. The controversy that may or may not exist with Capcom's Home Arcade, and the controversy that most certainly exists with the new Sonic the Hedgehog movie. Plus much more retro shenanigans!

Radical smoothie indeed.

So it sounds like you're keen for the Sonic the Hedgehog movie! Right?!

I see little to no connection.

Oh, and to tie subject matter from both of today’s  active threads together - Sonic the movie could have had a believable fat villain:

Just to piss Marc off more with info about rich bastard celebrities doing whatever they like no matter how good or bad, here’s something supplementary to “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee”. From Wikipedia:

”Car collection
Seinfeld, an automobile enthusiast and avid collector, owns a collection of about 150 cars which includes a large Porsche collection. He rented a hangar at the Santa Monica Airport, in Santa Monica, California, for an extended period of time during the 1990s for storage of some of the vehicles in the collection. In 2002, Seinfeld purchased property on the Upper West Side of Manhattan in New York City where he built a $1.4 million two-story garage to store part of his Porsche collection on the East Coast.”

Guess where many of the classic cars they drive in the series come from! And he still got sponsored for the coffee...

Heh, you know, I don't so much get annoyed at rich people buying lots of very expensive things. That's just reaping the rewards of your own work (or luck?) and so it's justified. And really, what else are you going to do with all of that money... And I hope they donate to a charity here and there too.

What can get annoying to me, is rich people getting praise for doing creative things that only people who don't have to worry about where the next pay cheque comes from can do. Such as driving around in cars drinking coffee. Sure it's cool, but it's not something that could survive without being supported by your own bottomless pools of monetary support.

Anyway, the divide is tenuous at best, so the argument certainly wouldn't stand up to scrutiny. In the end, I get annoyed at weird things, and I'm weird. My wife will attest to that!

Heh, I don't even remember saying that. Perhaps it's worth pitching it as a slogan for the event...

That John Wick game looks pretty cool! Although, as the resident Wick aficionado, I have to mention two things;

1. It would be very difficult to make a John Wick game that makes sense, because JOHN NEVER DIES!
2. Finding the dog at the end there changes the storyline in a dramatic fashion (spoilers)

The third movie was pretty great by the way. A hearty recommendation from me. My wife didn't like it though...

All the best haiku's are about balls, in my opinion.
